South Korea to build 1-billion watt prototype fusion reactor

Nature.com published an article about South Korea’s investment in a prototype fusion reactor to produce 1-billion watts of electricity.   The article written by Soo Bin Park states:

“South Korea has embarked on the development of a preliminary concept design for a fusion power demonstration reactor in collaboration with the US Department of Energy’s Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) in New Jersey.”
